Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on October 1, 1995, in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actor, known for Choices 2010. (also known as The Heart and Other Small Shapes), Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022), as well as The Heart and Other Small Shapes.
Asia Argento began her career as an actress as an actress in Rome. She is part of a family that also includes a number of filmmakers. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her first role. Red Wood Pigeon, the film that she played Nanni Moretti's daughter came out a year after. However, it came from Close Friends by Michele Placido that saw Asia's acting career explode. The film received an enthusiastic reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she worked in her first film with her father, the famous Italian horror director Dario Argento Her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search of her parents' killer. Asia's intense and absorbed acting style was used to great effect in the film Condannato a nozze. She co-starred with Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di vista as Arianna the girl with physical handicap. The complex and demanding character earned her the David di Donatello Prize for Best Actress. In 1995, she starred alongside Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio which again brought her a David diDonatello as well as the Grolla d'oro. Asia began the profession of directing in 1994. She produced two shorts and one of which was De Generazione. The following year, 1996, Asia made a document on her father. In 1998 was the year that Asia produced a feature film about Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), that was awarded an award by the Rome Film Festival. The year 1999 was the year Asia made her feature-directing debut by directing Scarlet Diva with Scarlet Diva, in which she was the leading actress and author of the screenplay. The film premiered on May 20th, 2000 in Italy as well as in various different nations. This film was awarded at the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York.
